FOUR INDUSTRY LEADERS JOIN RUNING USA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Running USA is pleased to announce its newly elected Board of Directors, as well as the addition of a fourth new board member by appointment
DETROIT – Running USA is pleased to announce its newly elected Board of Directors, as well as the addition of a fourth new board member by appointment.
Running USA members unanimously approved the election of three new board members to two-year director terms which will begin July 1, 2018 and conclude June 30, 2020.

Michelle Coss: Coss currently serves as interim president and director of community engagement for the Michigan Fitness Foundation. She has been a leader in developing running as a statewide habit for Michigan residents, including an active role on the PureMichigan Fit campaign.
Donna Grogan: Grogan is Vice President, Development & Fundraising for the Lupus Foundation of America where she oversees the fundraising strategy for the Foundation, which includes donor acquisition strategies and peer-to-peer fundraising events.
Tony Yamanaka: Yamanaka serves as the Vice President of Operations for Event Southwest of Austin, Texas, a full-service event production company providing top-level event production & management for mass participation events.
Also joining the Board of Directors by appointment to fill a vacant seat is Eric Cone, vice president of strategic business for RunSignUp. Cone fills a seat vacated by Sally Bergesen, who stepped down from the board. His term will expire in June, 2019.
Eric was the founder and CEO of RaceIt, a registration platform he started in 2007 that was acquired by Competitor Group in 2012. He joined RunSignUp as Vice President of Strategic Business in 2016.

The next Running USA Board of Directors meeting is set for July 30, 2018 in Detroit.
