3rd Annual Run for the Dream Half Marathon at Colonial Williamsburg

Registration is now open for the 3rd annual Run for the Dream in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The Fit to Run, Fit to Dream 8K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 8 a.m., followed by a Kids Fun Run at 10 a.m. May 19th is Armed Forces Day, and the 8K will honor Wounded Warriors and our nation’s military personnel and veterans. The half marathon starts at 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 2.

Active duty military personnel may register at a discounted rate, and Wounded Warriors register for free. The first 3,000 registrants for the half marathon or 8K will have the option to reserve a free pass to Busch Gardens and a $15 meal voucher, to be used at the park Friday May 31 through Sunday June 2. The first 6,000 registrants in any race will receive a free pass to Colonial Williamsburg, valid Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2. You may pick up these tickets with your registration packet at the Race Expo.

Proceeds from the Run for the Dream benefit An Achievable Dream, a nationally recognized
K-12 school dedicated to the belief that all children can learn and succeed regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds and that education can break the cycle of poverty. The race also benefits military Wounded Warriors programs, dedicated to assisting and advocating for the severely wounded, ill and injured members of the armed forces and for their families.
