The Walk for INDEPENDENCE is a fun day for everyone! Bring your family and friends–even the furry ones–for your choice of a 1- or 3-mile walk or 5K run around the surrounding neighborhoods of the Mt. Ida campus of UMass Amherst. The walk will start and finish at The Carroll Center for the Blind’s campus followed by fun activities, complimentary cookout and a kid’s fun run! All of the activities offer unique opportunities for both sighted and visually impaired people to participate.

Join members of the community, local businesses and even family dogs and support the mission of the Carroll Center. Funds raised make it possible for The Carroll Center for the Blind to transform lives.
